Getting Started
Creating your account
Section titled “Creating your account”Go to app.usevillage.app and click Sign Up. Sign up with your Google account or enter your email address and create a password. After signing up, you’ll be taken directly to your dashboard.
If you already have an account, click Log In and enter your credentials.
Beta users Beta
Section titled “Beta users ”BetaThe welcome tour
Section titled “The welcome tour”The first time you log in, Village shows a Welcome Tour — a walkthrough that introduces the main features of the app. You can step through it at your own pace or skip it entirely.
You can replay the tour at any time by clicking the Help button in the top navigation and selecting Take the Tour Again.
Your dashboard
Section titled “Your dashboard”The dashboard is your home base. Here’s what you’ll find:
Favorite events
Section titled “Favorite events”The top section shows events you’ve marked as favorites. Favoriting an event pins it here for quick access — useful for events you check frequently.
Upcoming events
Section titled “Upcoming events”Below your favorites is a list of your upcoming published events, ordered by date. Each event card shows:
- Event title and category type
- Date and time
- Short description
- Current status
- A “View Event” button
- An event actions ”…” elipsis button
Basic Analytics Individual
Section titled “Basic Analytics ”IndividualIndividual plan users and above see two additional widgets on their dashboard:
- Recent sign-ups — a live-updating list of the latest registrations across all your events
- Top events by sign-ups — a ranked list of your most popular events
Advanced Analytics Organization
Section titled “Advanced Analytics ”OrganizationOrganization plan users see additional analytics widgets on their dashboard:
- Event Performance Overview — a comprehensive view of all your events with key metrics like total sign-ups, average attendance, and revenue
- Revenue Trends — a chart showing your event revenue over time
- Attendance Patterns — insights into your event attendance trends
Navigating the app
Section titled “Navigating the app”The sidebar on the left contains your main navigation:
- Dashboard — your home page with favorites and realtime event summaries and activity
- Events — your full list of events with search, filters, sorting and card/list view.
- Settings
- Branding — organization branding Organization
- Help & Support
- Help — access the help articles, feedback form and welcome tour.
- Docs — direct access the Village Docs.
- User Menu
- User Info — your name, email and organization name.
- Account — billing and subscription management
- Log Out — quick access to log out of Village
The top navigation bar contains:
- A Create Event button to start a new event
- Light/Dark mode switcher
- Color Theme switcher
The events page
Section titled “The events page”The Events page shows all of your events in one place. You can:
- Search events by title using the search bar
- Filter by status (draft, active, canceled, completed)
- Sort by date
- Switch views between a card grid and a compact list using the view toggle in the top-right of the event list
Each event card shows its title, type, date, and current status. From the card, you can open the event, or access the actions menu.
