Village provides real-time analytics to help you understand event performance and attendance trends.
Basic analytics Individual
Section titled “Basic analytics ”IndividualIndividual plan users and above see two analytics widgets on their dashboard:
Recent sign-ups
Section titled “Recent sign-ups”A live-updating feed of the latest registrations across all your events. Shows:
- Attendee name — the person who signed up
- Event title — which event they registered for
- Time — when they signed up
This feeds updates instantly — no page refresh needed. Useful for monitoring sign-up activity during event promotion.
Top events by sign-ups
Section titled “Top events by sign-ups”A ranked list of your events sorted by total sign-up count. Quickly see which events are most popular and which may need more promotion.
Advanced analytics Organization
Section titled “Advanced analytics ”OrganizationOrganization plan users see detailed performance analytics on their dashboard. These widgets provide deeper insights into your events and attendee behavior.
Event Performance Overview
Section titled “Event Performance Overview”A comprehensive view of all your events with key metrics at a glance:
- Total sign-ups — aggregate registrations across all events
- Average sign-ups per event — how your events perform on average
- Total revenue — if applicable to your event types
- Upcoming events — count of events scheduled to start in the next 30 days
This gives you a bird’s-eye view of your event portfolio. Use it to identify whether you need to scale up promotion or adjust pricing.
Revenue Trends
Section titled “Revenue Trends”A chart showing event revenue over time. Visualize:
- Revenue by month — see which months generated the most income
- Trend direction — whether revenue is increasing or decreasing
- Seasonal patterns — identify peak event seasons
Attendance Patterns
Section titled “Attendance Patterns”Insights into your event attendance trends:
- Attendance rate — percentage of signed-up attendees who actually attended (if check-in mode is used)
- Sign-up timing — when attendees typically register (early birds vs. last-minute)
- Capacity trends — whether events typically fill up or have extra capacity
Use this to optimize event timing, promotional timing, and slot allocation. For example, if attendees sign up at the last minute, you know to extend promotions closer to event date.
Accessing your dashboard analytics
Section titled “Accessing your dashboard analytics”- Log in to Village at app.usevillage.app
- You’ll land on your Dashboard
- Scroll to see your analytics widgets below your Upcoming Events list
Analytics update in real time — no refresh needed. Open your dashboard while promoting an event to see sign-ups stream in live.
Tips for using analytics
Section titled “Tips for using analytics”- Monitor during promotion — watch sign-ups tick up as you share event links
- Compare event performance — identify what event types, titles, or descriptions get the most traction
- Plan next events — use attendance patterns to schedule future events at optimal times
- Optimize capacity — if events consistently fill up, consider increasing slot counts; if they have excess capacity, right-size slots to match demand
What’s not currently tracked
Section titled “What’s not currently tracked”These analytics features are not yet available but may be added in future updates:
- Conversion rates — percentage of people who view your event vs. those who sign up
- Geographic attendance — where attendees are located
- Form response trends — patterns in specific form fields (e.g., most popular meal preference)
- Custom date ranges — currently fixed to monthly; custom ranges coming soon
